Our Home – Poetry

A poem from Dwelling – Book 1

Firmly plants our body in the earth
As it reaches our spirit to the sky,
It expands us along the earth’s atmosphere
To all things. Our home is where we make Home. Our home is a vessel to hold love; It’s our sanctuary, where
We can open to deeper realms; It’s our place of vulnerability,
Where we’re free to live
In truth, and honestly respond. Our home receives all of our emotions,
Is a vessel to pour our whole being into. Our home is our safe enclosure for all of our
Many selves-aspects of our soul-to express themselves; Our home contains our seeds of constant renewal,
Where we can live in simple devotion
With the gift of life. We’re never alone; we’re always Home.
